Is microneedling safe for all skin types?
Microneedling can be safely performed on most skin types and tones. A consultation is recommended to review your skin concerns, medical history, and treatment goals.
How many microneedling treatments will I need?
A series of at least three treatments is generally recommended for optimal results. The number of sessions needed will depend on your skin concerns, treatment goals, and response to treatment.
Is microneedling safe for melasma?
Microneedling may be appropriate for individuals with melasma when performed carefully and as part of a personalized treatment plan. Because melasma can be sensitive to inflammation, your skin will be evaluated before treatment to determine whether microneedling is suitable for you.

Can microneedling and other treatments be combined?
Yes. Microneedling may be combined with other skin treatments or professional skincare products to enhance results. Nurse Cris will recommend a customized treatment plan based on your individual needs.
What is the downtime after microneedling?
Downtime is generally minimal. You may experience redness, warmth, or mild sensitivity for one to two days. Dryness or light peeling may occur for up to one week as the skin renews itself.
How does microneedling improve the skin?
Microneedling creates controlled microchannels in the skin, which stimulate the body’s natural healing response and support collagen and elastin production. Over time, this can improve skin tone, texture, firmness, and the appearance of fine lines.
Does microneedling hurt?
A topical numbing cream is applied in the office before the procedure to minimize discomfort. Most patients describe the treatment as mild pressure, vibration, or a light scratching sensation.
